Prof. Dr Vladimir Popović, Dean of the Faculty Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Serbian Association of Importers of Vehicles and Parts and the Belgrade Fair for his outstanding personal and professional contribution to the development and promotion of the automotive industry and vehicle market in the Republic of Serbia.
The award was presented to Prof. Popović at an official ceremony held during the opening of the 57th International Motor Show “DDOR BG Car Show 09“ and the 18th International Motorcycle Fair “Motopassion 2026“.
This year’s event holds special significance as it marks the 30th anniversary of the Serbian Association of Importers of Vehicles and Parts, as well as three decades of successful cooperation with the Belgrade Fair in organising one of the most important automotive events in the region.
Alongside Prof. Popović, this year’s recipients include prominent figures from public and professional life, including Fabrizio Giugiaro, one of the world’s most renowned automotive designers, who also officially opened this year’s motor fair.
