The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the absolute winner of this year\u2019s Ma\u0161inijada, held in Pe\u0161tani, North Macedonia. Students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade triumphed in both competition categories \u2013 winning first place in the overall academic knowledge ranking as well as first place in the overall sports ranking, which rightfully earned them the title of overall winners of the 65th<\/sup> Ma\u0161inijada.<\/p>\n

The competitors in the academic disciplines particularly distinguished themselves by winning as many as six first places.<\/p>\n

In the field of Mechanics, the winners were Dunja Bro\u0107i\u0107 and Miljan Vinkovi\u0107, under the mentorship of Professor Aleksandar Obradovi\u0107, while in Thermodynamics the top performers were Petar Velisavljevi\u0107 and Andrej Vukajlovi\u0107, mentored by teaching assistant Branislav Petrovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

First places were also achieved in Mathematics 1, where Tijana Predi\u0107 and Petar Bogdanovi\u0107 claimed victory, as well as in Mathematics 2, where Marko Ti\u0161ma and Jovan Radovanovi\u0107 achieved the best results. Both teams were led by Professor Aleksandar Pej\u010dev.<\/p>\n

In the field of Strength of Materials, Aleksa Rastovi\u0107 and Anastasija Petri\u0107 triumphed under the mentorship of teaching assistant Milan Jankovi\u0107, while in Machine Elements, Milan Jakovljevi\u0107 and Andrija Erakovi\u0107 secured first place with the support of teaching assistant Pavle Ljubojevi\u0107.<\/p>\n

A notable result was also achieved in Fluid Mechanics, where Natalija Novakovi\u0107 and An\u0111ela Novakov won third place under the mentorship of teaching assistant Nikola Milosavljevi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Behind this success is the dedication of the teaching staff and associates, as well as the tremendous effort and commitment of the students, who represented the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the best possible way and once again confirmed the high quality of education, knowledge and team spirit that the Faculty has fostered for decades.<\/p>\n

The sporting achievements were no less impressive. Students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering won first place in men\u2019s chess, men\u2019s and women\u2019s futsal, men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball, as well as men\u2019s handball and women\u2019s volleyball. Second places were achieved by the men\u2019s volleyball team and the women\u2019s chess team.<\/p>\n

For decades, Ma\u0161inijada has represented one of the most significant gatherings of students from mechanical engineering and related technical faculties across the region. The event was originally established with the idea of bringing together students of mechanical engineering faculties through competitions in knowledge, sports and social activities, and over time it has grown into a symbol of academic spirit, collegiality and fair competition.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Ma\u0161inijada, held from 13 to 17 May 2026, brought together faculties of mechanical engineering from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Ni\u0161, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, East Sarajevo and Skoplje, while the Belgrade students demonstrated clear dominance both on the sports field and in the areas of professional knowledge.<\/p>\n

The main organiser of this year\u2019s Ma\u0161inijada was the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ni\u0161, with significant support from the Student Union of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade and the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade.<\/p>\n
